We're expanding our project!
With the help of donations from Diablo Corals, Frag Junky, Critical Tanking, EcoTech, Reeflow, CAD Lights and Tunze and about $2000+ of my personal savings we are setting up two new tanks in different classrooms. Awesome Squad students will act as science ambassadors and train the new students on how to care for their tanks. Please continue to check for updates as our systems grow.
About The Tanks
90 Gallon Reef/Coral Grow Out TankI purchased this tank used from a local reefer. I'm setting up on a utility shelf with a 40 gallon sump on the bottom and a 20 gallon refugium above. It will initially serve as a coral grow out tank and then be set up as a full mixed reef tank next year.

25 Gallon Portable Frag Out TankThis tank is being created as part of a collaboration between FragJunky.com and my class. The portable frag out tank was custom made by Critical Tanking and designed to be easily transported to classrooms around the school. This tank will be showcased at a coral fragging workshop taught by Matt from Frag Junky. The will allow us to grow out more of our coral and hopefully set up many more reef tanks around the school.
